Graduating into a thin market changes the question
A software-engineering degree and three years of professional design work still meet a Sierra Leone tech market with almost no local demand. The question stops being 'am I good enough' and becomes 'where does the work exist'.
Comfort can masquerade as strategy
A friend's blunt accusation, complacency dressed up as calculation, stung because the pattern underneath was real: observing the game instead of making a move.
